remind me that if i ever go for another musical event like the one i have just returned from, i must go down with friends who know how to:
1: dress smart. my friend came down in pants and a t-shirt. baaad.
2: dance. i have no idea how they people at the front of the stage manage to swing and headbang like they did, but i'm sure it's got something to do with being in groups.
3: stand loud music. bloody hell. FLOW has made me reconsider trying out clubbing.
yes, if you all haven't figured out by now, i have just returned from FLOW! at the ministry of sound. bah it was okayish, but there were some amazing bands. divine9 was one. the beatboxer was just sad though, and paul twohill and his fellow emcee were plain... sad.
ugh my head is still aching from the bleeding bass.
so, class! if we ever organize another class outing, please let it be somewhere quietish like east coast park. then we can have a barbeque, and i can relax and tan my earlobes. and someone could bring down a guitar and i my harmonica, then we'd have some music. and if we're lucky i will manage to remember to bring some chocolates down. and the humbugs too.
but only if at least 20 people confirm can make it ok!
