There's always worse

Lalalala... this is my first time posting ^_^

Recall literature lessons and P&P? This is a balanced comparison made by juxtaposing two subjects.

I've kinda realised that when you think something is bad, there's always worse. Take our two new teachers this year for example. We all thought that a certain someone was terrible, spouting 'catch-phrases' like "punctuality is the hallmark of an educated person". Well it turns out that he/she's not that terrible after all, comparatively speaking. Although he/she is kind of preachy, he/she generally lets us speak quite freely and people can even get away with sleeping during his/her tutorial session (see Nava and Chloe). I've come to realise that his/her physique actually takes the sting and viciousness out of her preacing. We don't exactly feel very intimidated when she scolds us, and her teaching is getting better. So in other words, we're either getting used to her or she's getting a tad nicer than how she was on her first day. Yay for us then.

Now, on the other hand, we have another teacher that comes in from the army, and boy does she behave like she did. Despite only being a political analyst there, I think she's picked up the regimented style of operation. Consider how she asked us to introduce ourselves, normal teachers do so by going around in order of seating arrangement (even the one mentioned above) . BUT noooo, someone does it by register order. Orders dictated regardng this issue : speak when it's your turn, stand up when you introduce yourself, if it's not your turn DON'T SPEAK. Hmmmm.... some of our classmates have evidently rubbed her the wrong way from the start. Oh no, i think it's safe to say that we're in for very exciting lessons with this teacher in the future. No chatter in the background cause it distracts his/her, speak only when you're given permission to, etc etc etc.

Well, the thing that really sets this teacher apart is his/her height. If you put the two main subjects of this post next to each other, I believe we have a Goliath and David comparison going on (height wise). This tall teacher we have is really tall for his/her gender and the stature of the second teacher makes her threats seem even more intimidating. Imagine a tall giant threatening you...

Ok, having said all this, I end of by reminding everyone, if we think something is bad, it could get alot worse, therefore do not think bad is BAD. Silly KI people for not having the exhilarating experience of being in class with this exciting new giant (unlike the rest of us mere mortals)

Yeah right.....
